Hello and welcome to our Mesa, AZ deliverance page at Love Flows Ministries. We are a ministry that tries to connect people who need deliverance ministry with a ministry or person that can help them.
We understand that even when times are good, there is a spiritual war that constantly rages on earth. This is particularly true if you’re a Christian and even truer if you’re a Christian who is sincere about your walk with Christ.
In Daniel 10, Daniel was simply praying and fasting to get an answer from God, but we suddenly learn that there was a fallen angel– or what the New Testament might call a principality, authority, throne, or dominion– a former prince in Heaven who was hindering God’s angel from delivering the answer Daniel was praying for. When you are seeking deliverance, you will also have spiritual resistance. Here are some things you can do to better manage yourself as you seek deliverance:
- Get support. God designed the human body to function as one unit with many parts. He designed the Church to function the same way, so even if we deny our need for others or we let our individualistic culture convince us that people can make it alone, it’s all a sham. God has no need, but even He is a Community of Three Persons. Humans are not all-powerful and have many needs– each one being a community of three as well (body, soul, spirit)– one of those needs being community. Ask a few Christians you trust to stand with you emotionally and in prayer as you seek deliverance.
- Acknowledge the spiritual battle. As we stated above, there is an ongoing 24/7 spiritual battle for the influence of, worship from, and ownership over the souls of men. Acknowledging this battle is a good step, especially when you’re seeking deliverance. It affords you insight into some things in your life and in society and helps you to therefore make wiser decisions and choices.
- Exercise faith and perseverance. You might experience frustration, hindrance, discouragement while seeking deliverance. But your faith should be in God, not in a deliverance minister. The sons of Korah, after writing of their disappointments and unfulfilled longings, concluded, “Why are you downcast, oh my soul, and why are you disquieted within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him for the help of His countenance” (Psalm 42:5). Your help comes from God’s countenance (ie. God’s goodness, goodwill, love for you), so while you seek out a minister for deliverance, put your focus and hope for deliverance only on God.
