Good day and welcome to our Shreveport, LA deliverance page. If you are here because you’re in need of deliverance or are seeking deliverance for someone else, be encouraged. We have listed some ministries we found in Louisiana and hope they are helpful for you.
There are some local churches that have deliverance ministry available. Some of them only minister deliverance as a function of Jesus’s ongoing ministry to Christians and don’t have a formally set up deliverance ministry. We encourage you to call around to or visit your local churches and ask them if they have a deliverance ministry or if they minister deliverance.
Just like God “inhabits the praises of His people” (Psalm 22:3), so satan inhabits places where he is being purposely or inadvertently praised. Because of this spiritual principle, satan has a greater presence in the affairs of America than God does. As a result, spiritual bondage, oppression, and harassment is very prevalent in the lives of many people. Many run to groups like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous as a result; many rely on meds and on the mental/behavioral health industries; some are locked up in psychiatric treatment centers; others cope with all types of harmful and unhealthy behaviors. But when the root of an issue is spiritual, then only Jesus can deal with it. Here are some steps you can take as you seek deliverance:
- Vet deliverance ministries. Call around and ask questions that are pertinent to you. You’ll want to know how each ministry operates, etc. This gives you a better picture of what to expect from each ministry.
- Get some support. The Bible mentions or shows many spiritual laws or principles at work. One of these principles is the ‘law of agreement’ in which two or more people have a better chance of success than just one person. Jesus said, “I have come that they might have life and life more abundantly” (John 10:10). But this life can’t be had by an individual person; it is reserved for “they” or a corporate body of people (as few as two, but always more than one). Psalm 133 shines more light on the environment in which Jesus gives this “life more abundantly” and says, “How good and how pleasant it is when brethren dwell together in unity… For there, the Lord commanded the blessing– even life forevermore.” “Life forevermore” and “life more abundantly” are both the same thing and are only given where “brethren dwell together in unity”. So, when you have one or more people praying with you for your deliverance, then the odds are more in your favor to make progress and find the deliverance you need.
