Welcome to our deliverance page for Aurora, IL. We created this page to help residents of Aurora and surrounding cities who need deliverance and are seeking ministry to connect to a ministry that can help them. We are not sure that all the links and phone numbers for these ministries still work as some of them are rather old. But don’t be afraid to reach out. And don’t forget your local church. Some local churches have unlisted deliverance ministries.
When seeking ministry, there are several things to take into account. There are also some practices that can help you to connect with deliverance faster than if you didn’t have them. Here are some things to remember and to practice as you seek deliverance ministry:
- Exercise your discernment daily so you can avoid the schemes and atacks of the enemy. The enemy will be working overtly or covertly to derail you as you pursue deliverance. The Bible shows that the devil loves to take captives but hates to release them. Captives who are seeking release (ie. deliverance) become targets for the enemy. His attacks often come very subtly– sudden distractions, busyness, etc.– and seem natural. But sometimes, depending on the spiritual bondage, the enemy will overtly resist you: car accidents, other accidents, people physically attacking or trying to harm or kill you, etc. The attacks are usually subtle, so it’s important to exercise your discernment while you seek deliverance so you can recognize when something in your life, in a friend or loved one, or around is of the enemy rather than natural. This helps you move more continuously towards deliverance rather than being distracted or derailed.
- Seek out mature believers. Pray and ask God to connect you with mature believers. Why mature believers? Because mature believers are not self-centered and are very inclined to listen to what God tells them and to do it. Immature believers are self-centered, focused on receiving things from God rather than giving things to others, and can’t truly make sense of the notion of ‘working for God’ or relating to Jesus as Lord (i.e. Master) because they only see Jesus as Savior. The Bible often uses the word ‘spiritual’ in place of the word ‘mature’. For example, in 1Corinthians 2:6 Paul said, “We speak wisdom among those who are mature.” This simply means, “[The truths] we speak only make sense to believers who are matur(ing).” Immature believers can’t make sense of someone who needs deliverance. Matur(ing) believers not only accept such a thing but are happy to be God’s vessels in it and may also be used in your deliverance. So, be wise and ask God often to connect you with ‘mature believers’.
