Welcome to our Morgantown, WV deliverance page here at Love Flows Ministries. We made this page for residents of Morgantown and around who are experiencing spiritual oppression or bondage and are seeking deliverance.
We have listed two people below who you can contact about deliverance ministry. You can also ask if they know any deliverance ministries in your area. Also be aware that some local churches have deliverance ministries, so while we couldn’t find many ministries for West Virginia, you have a few other options.
If you are here because you are or someone you know is suffering from spiritual bondage and seeking deliverance, be encouraged and keep reading. The following are some points that we hope will help you as you pursue your deliverance:
- Have faith in God. As humans, we’re accustomed to having to give something to get something in return. Law is something we’re accustomed to. The concept of Grace is often still a concept, and it can be difficult to believe to receive something you gave nothing for. God’s Word says that Jesus died and rose so that people born under sin, curses, and condemnation could be delivered from all those things. Deliverance is God’s will for your life.
- Know your enemy. The Bible often shows satan as a cunning and clever adversary whose intentions for humanity are only to bereave (steal), tear down and discourage (kill), and effectively and completely neutralize (destroy). 1Peter 5:8 says, “Be sober and vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour,” and in Job 1 and 2, satan himself admits that he constantly wanders earth, looking for someone to harm. For satan, this is a 24/7 affair. The better you understand this, the better equipped you are to recognize some of his tactics and activities, respond wisely to his traps, or avoid his tricks altogether.
- Seek spiritual fellowship. By spiritual fellowship I mean fellowship that honors God and has a holy feel to it. Not all fellowship is created equal. At the end of Malachi 3, God says of believers who have spiritual fellowship, “They shall be Mine.” This happens more often in very small groups of Christians, so you only need a few. The goal is for the fellowship or meeting to be sanctified by God’s presence. If you can’t find this, it’s important to have just a few Christians who are willing to support you in prayer as you seek deliverance.
- Persevere. According to the Bible, if you keep pursuing your deliverance, then eventually, sooner or later, you will find it (Matthew 7:8)
