We are aware that many people are in need of deliverance ministry and that many people can’t seem to find a ministry that has worked or that works for them. In spite of the need, the availability of ministry is low. As Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few” (Luke 10:2). This page is to hopefully help you connect with some ministries that can either help you or that point you to someone who can.
Hollywood movies often give some insight into the battle between good and bad, righteousness and wickedness, God and satan. The flagrant violence, aggressive hypersexualization, and prevalent occult themes in the movies and on TV shows– even in music, art, and fashion– are only lending to an ever-increasing number of people who find themselves in spiritual bondage. Some people are aware of their bondage and are seeking a way out of it. But the only way is through Jesus Christ. For Christians who are struggling with spiritual bondage and are seeking deliverance, here are some steps that will help you as you seek deliverance:
- Have faith in God’s charity or beneficence towards you. Living on this planet, it’s usually difficult to see or apprehend God’s love or kindness. Basically everything we get we have to work for. There’s no kindness in that. But God sent Jesus so that He could have an avenue through Him to show us the kindness that we may not be accustomed to. The Bible says that God wills to provide for all our needs. Deliverance is one of those needs, and Jesus died and then conquered death so that we could also conquer all forms of death in our lives, one of them being spiritual bondage. Believe that God wants to deliver you. This faith will be like a battery that energizes you to pursue deliverance until you find it.
- Get tailor-made support. Ask believers you trust to support you emotionally and spiritually (and in prayer) as you seek and pursue deliverance. Their support will provide a covering in the spirit that will make it harder for sin and satan to waylay or discourage you.
- Actively pursue deliverance. This includes praying, meditating on what God’s Word says about deliverance and restoration, and sanctifying yourself or practicing daily obedience to God. As you obey God in the things you already know to do, He will draw near to protect and lead and guide you to deliverance.
