We have provided several deliverance ministry contacts on this page. We have not vetted any of them, so you will have to be ready to do so and ask all the questions you feel are pertinent to you so you can find a ministry that you feel comfortable with.
The world is getting worse and darker spiritually just as the Bible predicted. Spiritual bondage is worse today than it has ever been. Of course, there are more people on earth than before, but there is also more spiritual oppression and domination. Many Christians are experiencing this. If you’re experiencing any bondage issues, the following are some helpful things to know and practice as you seek deliverance:
- Know your enemy. The Bible shows satan to be a schemer who is always looking to make trouble– “to steal, kill, and destroy” (John 10:10) as Jesus said. In the Book of Job, when called to stand before God and give an account of his latest activities, satan himself responded to God that he had been “going to and fro on the earth, and… walking back and forth on it” (Job 1:7 and Job 2:2). As you seek deliverance, satan will want to distract and derail you. Ask God for discernment so you can recognize when a situation, person, thought, or feeling is from the enemy and is meant to waylay or delay you.
- Ask for prayer support. Tell a few Christians you trust what you’re dealing with and ask them for prayer support. There are some obstacles that one person can’t defeat alone and needs one or more others. Sometimes, connecting with the right place for deliverance is one of those situations.
- Sanctify your life to Jesus. It’s hard to even conceive of this in the world we currently live in. Sanctification is devoting your life to God instead of valuing the things the world values, thinking like the world, or acting like the world. Ask God for help here. Sanctification helps when you get deliverance ministry and also helps you to keep the deliverance you get.
- Don’t lose heart. You might have to wait longer than you expected for deliverance. Get the support you need, and don’t give up: “Jesus told them a parable to the end that men always ought to pray and not lose heart” (Luke 18:1).
