Welcome to our Charleston, SC deliverance page. If you are experiencing demonic harassment, oppression, or bondage and you are wanting to break free from it, looking for deliverance ministries in your city or state is probably a good place to start. We have listed some deliverance ministries on this page, but you can also look at our other South Carolina deliverance pages for more ministries in South Carolina.
You should also know that some local churches have deliverance ministries and that many of those ministries are not publicized. You often have to ask a church directly if they have any deliverance ministries available in order to find out. If you are seeking deliverance ministry, always remember to vet every ministry you call to see if it sounds like a good place for you to go for deliverance.
Writing now in late May 2022, the times we live in seem to be becoming more and more unstable. They are also becoming more and more ungodly. Habakkuk 2:14 says, “The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” The fact is that whatever space or place God’s Kingdom is not ruling over, satan’s kingdom will be ruling over. Because godliness has been decreasing over the years, more people are experiencing different forms of spiritual bondage. If you’re seeking deliverance ministry, consider putting the following into practice:
- Read one or two books about deliverance ministry. This is if you don’t know much about deliverance ministry. Two books I could recommend are ‘Pigs in the Parlor’ by Francis & Ida Mae Hammond and also ‘They Shall Expel Demons’ by Derek Prince. It’s good to know a little about modern deliverance ministry and how the Bible backs it up.
- Seek support from Christians. Find one or two Christians you trust and tell them that you are experiencing spiritual bondage and are seeking deliverance. Ask them to stand with you in prayer and support as you seek deliverance. If you don’t have anyone who will stand with you in this way, ask God to send you encouragement so you can stand alone until you’re delivered.
- Depend on God for deliverance. In Isaiah 40:27, God asked Israel, “Why do you say, oh Jacob, and speak, oh Israel: ‘My way is hidden from the Lord, and my just cause is passed over by my God’?” God’s deliverance was delayed, so Israel said God didn’t understand their struggle. Be prepared to wait, because God has promised to deliver.
