Hello and welcome to Love Flows Ministries. This is our Charleston, WV deliverance page for people who are seeking deliverance in Charleston and surrounding areas. We attempt to find deliverance ministries to post on these deliverance pages, but we found only two contacts so far for West Virginia. Two are below, but you have other options.
Some local churches have a deliverance ministry or deliverance function. You can call churches in your area and ask them if they have a deliverance ministry or/and if they know of a deliverance ministry in your area.
There is so much to learn about deliverance and how the spiritual world operates. As lawlessness increases and people disdain and break laws, spiritual bondage increases in the land as well. More people today are in spiritual bondage than at any other time in history. If you are experiencing spiritual bondage and are seeking deliverance, be encouraged and keep reading. The following can be helpful as you pursue your deliverance:
- Vet deliverance ministries. Vet each ministry you reach out to so you can determine whether or not a ministry will be a good fit for you.
- Know your enemy. The Bible shows that satan is cunning and deceptive. He’s always looking for someone to take advantage of. Some of his main weapons against a Christian are isolation, confusion, and discouragement. The better understanding you have of satan’s MO, the better able you are to recognize, avoid, and thwart them.
- Get support. Confide in a few Christians you trust about what’s going on in your life and ask them for emotional and prayer support. We might live in an individualistic society, but the Bible is clear from start to finish that people need each other. Paul told the Corinthians, “You are the body of Christ [corporately] and members individually” (1Corinthians 12:27). Spiritual support can help protect you from potential mistakes and derailment as you seek deliverance.
- Sanctify your life to God. Dedicate or rededicate your life to God; turn away from pursuing worldly or carnal things and instead pursue God and the purpose God created you for. Sanctification to God allows God to protect you from certain needless mistakes or casualties.
- Persevere. “Then [Jesus] spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart” (Luke 18:1). If hard times or suffering gets hard enough, a person can lose the ability to pray. The main message in Jesus’s words above is that you don’t give up: “men always ought to pray and not lose heart.” Deliverance doesn’t always come quickly, and many people have had to wait for freedom. So be willing to persevere and to keep seeking a helpful ministry until you find it.
