Columbia Deliverance Ministries MD

Hi and welcome to our Columbia, MD deliverance page. If you’re here in search of a deliverance ministry to help you get your deliverance– or if you’re seeking for a loved one or someone else– we’re here to help you make the connection you need.

Some people who are experiencing demonic oppression, torment, or harassment and who need deliverance may feel a sense of shame because of what they’re experiencing. Many keep quiet about it, don’t disclose it to their fellow churchgoers, or suffer in silence. None of these is uncommon. While in some ‘third-world’ countries, the spirit realm and spiritual bondage are realities, the West prefers to approach spiritual realities as mental illnesses, hallucinations, or delusions. But if you’re experiencing spiritual torment, don’t let shame stop you from seeking deliverance.

Besides reaching out to the ministries we have listed here and on our other Maryland pages, you can also call around to churches in your area and ask them a.) if they have a deliverance ministry or/and b.) if they have someone in the church who can help you get deliverance or get free from spiritual bondage. It’s sometimes important how you phrase the question because some churches do deliverance when someone asks for it or needs it but don’t offer deliverance as a formal ministry in the church. Please consider these steps as you seek deliverance:

  1. Sanctify yourself to God. To sanctify means to separate– to separate yourself from one thing and connect yourself to another thing, ie. to God. It carries a similar meaning to the word ‘repent’ which is not only turning from sin but also turning to God. Someone who is delivered of demons has, in a sense, turned away from demons. But if that person doesn’t then turn to God, those demons will immediately seek to return. In Matthew 12:43-45, Jesus discloses this principle. So, sanctification– or turning away from the things the world values and turning to God– is important when seeking deliverance, when receiving deliverance, and after deliverance.
  2. Prepare to persevere. We live in a society where even the homeless can be comfortable and can have many luxuries within reach. Because of the ease in which we live and the fact that we can get what we want rather quickly, we’ve become a ‘microwave generation’ and aren’t accustomed to the notion of persevering. Biblical Christianity, however, is about persevering. When seeking deliverance, you’ll have to persevere if you don’t immediately get it.
  3. Trust God. It takes time to build trust, but Jesus is the one who grants deliverance and you should trust that He wants you to be free, even if it doesn’t happen quickly.
