We have not found many deliverance ministries in Delaware, but we will share all the ones we did find here and on our other DE pages.
The world is in turmoil. For a long time, actually, it has been in turmoil. It’s just that the turmoil was once not so obvious but is becoming more and more apparent. 2,000 years ago, Paul talked about a world in turmoil though not observable by the naked eye. He said:
“The earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body” (Romans 8:19-23).
Here is a paraphrase of what Paul is saying in that passage:
“The earth and its non-human creatures are all longing for mature Christians to take their places in God’s agenda. This is because all Creation (trees, water, animals, etc.) was forced into bondage after the Fall of man at the Garden of Eden. The Creation is now longing for God’s Children to walk in freedom so that the Creation will then be delivered into freedom as well. Indeed– even till this moment since the Fall of man– the Creation (trees, plants, animals, etc.) is mourning the unrighteousness on earth, and we who are mature enough to know God’s thoughts are also mourning because God is mourning. We are longing to be transformed out of these fallen bodies into perfect bodies once again.”

In Isaiah 58, Israel was fasting and then returning to life as usual as most people do. God was angry with them because they did not understand that He does not want material fasts but wants them to live a lifestyle of ‘fasting from the flesh’– ie. a lifestyle of sanctification to God and selfless service to those in need: “Would you call this a fast, an acceptable day to the Lord? Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke” (Isaiah 58:5-6).
