We want to help people who are experiencing spiritual oppression to connect with deliverance ministries in your area that can help you. Unfortunately, we didn’t find many ministries in North Dakota, but you’re free to look at what we listed on our other North Dakota pages.
In seeking a deliverance ministry, you should also call around to local churches in your area. Many deliverance ministries can’t be found online. Furthermore, some local churches have deliverance ministries within them. Additionally, there are some churches who do have a deliverance function though not classed as a separate ministry. These churches have people who work with Christians who need deliverance. They do it as a function of Jesus’s love for the brethren. You can call local churches and ask if they have a deliverance ministry or if they have anyone who can help you get deliverance from spiritual bondage.
As Jesus predicted, the world is getting worse. As more and more pleasures and luxuries call for people’s attention and people are smothered under the pressure to get and have more and more, most people’s natural affection for their fellow human beings is growing cold and dying. This environment only encourages spiritual bondage but also makes finding deliverance harder. Even the early Church had this problem. Paul said to the Philippian Church, “I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you shortly, that I also may be encouraged when I know your state. For I have no one like-minded, who will sincerely care for your state. For all seek their own, not the things which are of Christ Jesus. But you know his proven character, that as a son with his father he served with me in the gospel” (Philippians 2:19-22).
I believe that “All seek their own” has only gotten worse over the course of time. So, here are some helpful points for you as you seek deliverance:
- Recognize the schemes of satan. The Bible shows that satan constantly roams, looking for people to take advantage of. (Job 1:7, Job 2:2, James 4:8.) Some of his foundational tactics against Christians are isolation, ignorance, and discouragement. The more you realize this, the better you can recognize and neutralize his schemes against you.
- Get support. Ask a few Christians you trust for prayer support as you seek deliverance.
- Trust that God wants to deliver you from all bondage. Jesus came to deliver captives. Before He ascended to Heaven, He gave the same mandate to His followers. You might have to persevere in seeking deliverance, but if you do, God will eventually provide your need. Trust Him as you pursue deliverance. (Read Luke 18:1-8.)
