Germantown Deliverance Ministries MD

God bless you and welcome to our Germantown, MD deliverance page. If you are in need of deliverance from spiritual bondage and are seeking deliverance, or if you’re seeking deliverance for a loved one, our desire is to help you find a deliverance ministry that can help you.

Deliverance was one of the foundational aspects of Jesus’s ministry on earth. Everyone who came to Him for deliverance was delivered. This includes a Gentile who wasn’t a Jew and who was therefore not under the Covenant for deliverance. Jesus isn’t recorded as doing any miracles for Gentiles except this one deliverance. Jesus gave the word for her daughter to be delivered from spiritual bondage, and the Bible says, “And her daughter was healed from that very hour.” (Read Matthew 15:21-28.)

If you’re looking for deliverance, consider these steps as you move forward:

  1. Trust that God wants to deliver you. Jesus said, “What man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him” (Matthew 7:9-12). God wants you to be free from everything that limits and restricts and oppresses you.
  2. Persistence pays off. Jesus said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened” (Matthew 7:7-8). In our ‘microwave generation’ where we don’t have to wait long for anything, persistence isn’t something that is common to most people. But when you’re seeking deliverance or anything from God, for that matter, that He wills you to have, you will probably have to learn to persevere and be persistent.
  3. Seek counsel. Solomon said, “Without counsels do a people fall, and deliverance is in a multitude of counselors” (Proverbs 11:14; Young’s Literal Translation). He’s saying that the more counsel you have, the more you’re equipped to make wise decisions. Seek counsel from people you trust, but also look to God and His Word for the final word. Some people might give you unwise or selfish counsel that may be good for them but not for you. You need God’s Word to be the umpire here.
  4. Seek mature believers. Ask God to put at least one mature believer in your life. Their support and prayers, wisdom and patience, and selflessness and genuine goodwill will be invaluable.
