Welcome to our Grand Forks, ND deliverance page. We were not able to find more than three deliverance ministries in North Dakota and share one each on our three North Dakota pages. One ministry’s location is below. You might be able to find more ministries in your area using a search engine. You can also call around to your local churches and ask them if they have a deliverance ministry or know a deliverance ministry in that area.
You will need to vet the ministries that you contact to see if they’re a good fit for you. Not every ministry is for everyone.
We are living in both certain and uncertain times– certain because of God’s sure Word, and uncertain because nothing outside of God is fully certain. People have become more self-centered, entitled, loveless, and godless. Mental illnesses have skyrocketed, and spiritual bondage is rocketing right alongside it. The following points can help you navigate successfully as you pursue your deliverance:
- Know your enemy. The Bible says that satan is on the prowl, seeking people to harm. Do be aware that this warning was given to Christians: “Be sober and vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world” (1Peter 5:8-9). Some of satan’s foundational tactics against Christians are confusion, discouragement, compromise, and ignorance. The more you exercise soberness and vigilance– not thinking that a Christian is automatically off-limits to satan– the more you will recognize when satan is at work in your life and will be better equipped to sidestep his tactics to derail your deliverance.
- Seek mature Christians for support. The Bible defines ‘mature Christians’ as ‘maturing Christians’ or ‘Christians who are purposely desiring to grow in Christ’. No one arrives, but some people are going. When you need to connect with God or fight the enemy, mature Christians are indispensable. This is because they have grown past the ‘babes in Christ’ stage, no longer self-focused but others-focused and God-focused. “Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity” (Hebrews 6:1). If you can’t find a mature Christian, ask God to encourage you Himself.
- Make God your final word. You’ll encounter obstacles– subtle or/and overt– to deliverance. There are no professionals in God’s Kingdom, so ministers do fail. But if you trust God, you’ll never be too discouraged to keep seeking deliverance until you find it. “Why are you downcast, oh my soul, and why so discouraged within me? Put your hope in God” (Psalm 42:5).
