The need for deliverance is growing more each year as we move towards the final chapter of earth’s history and to the end of all things. Welcome to our Grand Rapids, MI deliverance page. If you’re in need of deliverance from spiritual bondage or know someone who is, we aim to help you get connected to a deliverance ministry that can help you.
Today, many people are in need of deliverance from spiritual bondage. Probably most are unaware of it. Lady Gaga has spoken about her being levitated out of her bed and several of her own experiences with the demonic. The problem really is everywhere. The growing lawlessness– much of it encouraged and pushed from Hollywood and the entertainment, music, art, and fashion industries– is creating an environment for the demonic.
A time is coming when people will rush in droves to churches to get deliverance from spiritual oppression. But deliverance is primarily for Christians. If you or someone you know is seeking deliverance, prayerfully consider these steps as you seek:
- Don’t limit yourself in your search for deliverance. Most deliverance ministries are either unlisted or they’re hard to find on an online search. But there are local churches that have a deliverance ministry or function. You can call around to your local churches and ask them a.)if they have a deliverance ministry or b.) if they have someone in the church who can help you get deliverance from spiritual bondage. The second phrasing is for churches that don’t have a formally set up deliverance ministry but do have a deliverance function in the church in which someone(s) will minister deliverance to others as a way of showing Jesus’s love for His people.
- Sanctify yourself to God. To sanctify means to separate. Just like the word ‘repent’ means not only to turn from sin but to also turn to God, the word ‘sanctify’ means to not only separate yourself from worldly or self-centered pursuits but to devote yourself to God and His will. This brings you closer to God, allowing Him to lead you and you to hear and perceive Him. This facilitates deliverance. “Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth” (John 17:17).
- Seek fellowship with Christians who are mature. Mature Christians are Christians who are being sanctified or who are purposely seeking to do God’s will on a routine basis. They want to grow up spiritually and not linger in the ‘babes in Christ’ stage where everything revolves around being blessed and highly favored. Mature Christians are able to help you grow and to take you to a higher place in Christ. They might also become God’s vessels of deliverance in your life.
