Huntsville Deliverance Ministries AL

Hello. Welcome to our Huntsville, AL deliverance page. We assume that anyone who comes visits this page is seeking deliverance ministry in Alabama. We’re here to try to help you to connect with the right ministry or person to help you get your deliverance.

The need for deliverance is everywhere. The New Testament uses the Greek word ‘sozo’ for deliverance, salvation, and restoration in every part of one’s life. People need deliverance from demonic bondage, deliverance from toxic and hostile mindsets that satan uses to keep them in captivity, deliverance from emotional wounds that keep the person broken, etc.

Jesus began His ministry in His birthplace of Nazareth by reading a passage from Isaiah 61:1-2 that summarized His purpose and ministry: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord” (Luke 4:18-19). The four groups Jesus listed– the brokenhearted, the captives, the blind, and the oppressed– are four different types of bondage. Everyone is suffering from bondage in some form. Here are steps you can take as you seek deliverance:

  1. Seek spiritual support. God Himself, who needs no one, is a Community. He created people to live and thrive in community, and this is certainly so with the Body of Christ. From Old to New Testament, there is a testimony that God can work more when there is community (just “two or more”) than when a person is solitary or isolated. In America, we’re individualistic; but that doesn’t change the spiritual laws and how they work: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor” (Ecclesiastes 4:9). Community with one or more other people provides a spiritual canopy around you that you wouldn’t otherwise have. It acts as a protection against the enemy and lessens one’s likelihood to sin.
  2. Renew your relationship with God. Similar to the first point, drawing closer to God and practicing daily obedience immediately provides a spiritual canopy that hinders the enemy and sin from so easily accessing you. It also allows God to fight your battles and makes success through Jesus probable rather than just possible: “For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (Joshua 1:8).
  3. Pray for wisdom. Paul said, “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is” (Ephesians 5:15-17). As we are near the end of human history, sin becomes rampant and satan is more determined to kill, steal, destroy. We therefore need wisdom so we can make correct decisions including when it regards deliverance.
