Hello, Kansas City. Welcome to our Kansas City, KS deliverance page here at Love Flows Ministries for those in that area who are in need of and seeking deliverance. We are here to provide you with contact info. for deliverance ministries in your area or near. As of now, we don’t know a lot of ministries in your area. However, most deliverance ministries are unlisted or obscure and hard to find even online.
If you’re seeking deliverance, it’s important to know that some local churches either offer deliverance as a specific ministry within the church or as an informal way to minister Jesus’s Grace to God’s children. You can call around to local churches and ask them if they have a deliverance ministry or if they can help you get deliverance from spiritual bondage. Phrasing the question both ways covers both formal deliverance ministries (first question) and informal deliverance ministry (second question).
Here are some some useful steps that can help you as you seek deliverance:
- Vet any deliverance ministry you talk to. You need to find out how a ministry operates so you know if it will serve you well. Ask them all the questions that are pertinent to you.
- In the end, deliverance is a lifestyle, not just a few sessions you have. You can receive your deliverance and then return to a life that centers around yourself and your thoughts and feelings, or you can receive deliverance and follow Jesus in a deeper and more genuine way if you aren’t already. Before God gave the law to Moses, He already had a way of life He desired from His people: He didn’t desire the sacrifices; He desired their own hearts. God desired a godly way of life from them, not religious practices towards God but heart devotion towards God manifested in their love towards each other. ‘Deliverance’ or sanctification or being refined or transformed by the renewing of your mind always sums up in loving God and loving God’s people with practical actions. God told Israel, “Is this not the [lifestyle] that the Lord has chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke” (Isaiah 58:6). Salvation (or deliverance), as far as God is concerned, has to do with total and complete deliverance in every way: “May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1Thessalonians 5:23).
- Be willing to wrestle over a period of time for full deliverance. Solomon said, “I saw the tears of the oppressed, and they have no comforter. Power is on the side of their oppressors, and they have no comforter” (Ecclesiastes 4:1). Many times, people don’t persist in their search for deliverance because their circumstances and feelings make it at least seem like the enemy has the advantage over them. But Jesus taught that in seeking justice (or deliverance) from your adversary, “Men always ought to pray and not lose heart” (Luke 18:1).
