Lexington Deliverance Ministries KY

Hello, Lexington. Welcome to our Lexington, KY deliverance page. If you live in Lexington or nearby and need deliverance from spiritual oppression or bondage, we’re here to help you connect with a ministry near you if possible.

If you’re experiencing demonic oppression, bondage, dreams, nighttime (or daytime) visitations, or harassment, you aren’t alone. Most people who experience these things won’t talk openly to anyone about it. Many of them will anonymously do their sharing online; some will find other avenues to share; and most will keep it to themselves and find unhealthy ways of coping. Jesus suffered, died, and rose so that we could have salvation from sin (the flesh), from bondage (satan), and from the expectations and pressures of other people (the world).

Unfortunately, deliverance isn’t always a one-time thing. Depending on the situation, if someone receives deliverance and re-opens the doorway for the same evil spirits to return to their lives, then those spirits can enter. Sometimes you have a situation where God won’t let a spirit return (when Jesus cast out the spirit(s) from one father’s epileptic son, He said, “I command you: come out of him, and enter him no more” –Mark 9:25), but you shouldn’t take the chance of finding out which can return and which can’t. The following are some steps you can take to help you before, during, and after deliverance:

  1. Consecrate your life to God. This helps you to get your deliverance, to keep your deliverance, and to live obediently to God. There is a lot in this world that people want to hold on to, but in the end, none of those things are worth losing your salvation over. Ask God to help you to consecrate your life to Him and take steps to cooperate by praying for a heart that’s devoted to God, reading the parts of the Bible that talk about people whose lives were consecrated to God, and doing what you know is right (obedience) on a daily basis. The more you reject God’s voice or your conscience or the nudges of your heart to do what is right, the fainter God’s voice gets and the less of a relationship you will have with Him. God isn’t obligated to have a relationship with a person just because he/she is a Christian. God draws near (relationship) only to those who draw near to Him. (James 4:8.)
  2. Ask God for a repentant or changed heart. If you are already truly desiring God as a Person and not just His blessings, then this step applies to you. David was “upright in heart,” but after the Bathsheba incident, he realized he needed more than a good heart. He prayed, “Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10). Without a clean heart and a right spirit (not just a good heart or good intentions and good works in the community), you won’t be able to desire God or anything God desires.

Deliverance can sometimes be had without any preparation or change in your life; but it’s better to be willing to change your life (if need be) so that your deliverance is a whole one and not just deliverance from demonic bondage.
