Hello, Miami, and welcome to our Miami deliverance page here at Love Flows Ministries. If you are seeking deliverance ministry, please keep reading. We provide links to several ministries you can contact, but remember to vet them and ask them what to expect if you were to receive ministry from them.
Jesus said, “Come to Me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest… My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matthew 11:28). Burdens are burdensome and unwelcome in our lives. Some burdens are good (eg. daily responsibilities); some burdens are neutral (eg. working a job we don’t really like); and some burdens are plain bad (eg. demonic burdens). The devil wants to put heavy yokes on everyone, especially Christians, to prevent them from functioning in life as God designed them to.
If you are in need of deliverance, consider these steps as you seek deliverance:
- Sanctify yourself to God. This means turning away from worldly things (eg. vain TV shows), turning away from carnal pursuits (eg. the admiration and esteem of others), and turning to God to be your fulfillment and joy. The Samaritan woman at the well in John 4 was searching for the fulfillment we all search for. She couldn’t find it in anything outside of God just like everyone else. Jesus told her that the Holy Spirit (ie. “living water”) would be an eternal spring within her so that she would always be fulfilled. As you sanctify yourself to God, you will slowly lose interest in the things that the world is interested in. Sanctifying yourself brings God closer to you, and He is the one to best lead you to the right person(s) for deliverance.
- Get fellow Christians to stand with you. The Bible often talks about the power of “two or more” which has to do with the spiritual ‘law of agreement’: “Two are better than one,” Solomon stated, “because they have a good return for their labor” (Ecclesiastes 4:9). David also said, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is when brethren dwell together in unity… For there, the Lord commanded the blessing– even life forevermore” (Psalm 133).
- Practice humility. Similar to the way a modest woman is naturally very attractive to a man, a humble person is attractive to the Lord. He wants to be near them, close to them. He wants them to be where He is. He desires to share with them things He does not share with others. The Bible is also full of examples for this: “Though the Lord is exalted, He cares for the humble, but He keeps His distance from the proud” (Psalm 138:6; New Living Translation). Humility will give you favor with God for deliverance.
