Good day and welcome to our New Orleans, LA deliverance page. We’re excited to be able to help people in need of deliverance in New Orleans or the surrounding area to connect with a ministry that can help you. If you can’t find a ministry after you go through our lists and call around your local churches, feel free to contact us.
Most deliverance ministries are hard to find because many are obscured online, because many are not listed anywhere, and because many are found in unassuming local churches. Some local churches have a deliverance ministry that functions quietly or flies under the radar. You have to call around or visit local churches to find some of these ministries.
We are in really bad times– bad times for the people who hate the times and bad times for the people who love the times. Lawlessness is growing, as the Bible predicted, and people are becoming more self-centered, more toxic, and less empathetic toward their fellowman. This environment creates spiritual bondage or exacerbates the spiritual bondage that was already present. Many people are in bondage and are struggling under heavy yokes. This includes both non-Christians and Christians.
Here are some things that can be helpful for you if you are seeking deliverance for yourself or for a loved one:
- Sanctify yourself from the world. In the Old Testament, God constantly called Israel to be separate from other nations around them and to not partake in the practices of those nations. He also instructed Israel at times to destroy entire nations in order to wipe the iniquity (ie. evil influence) of those nations from the land so that Israel would not be polluted. James reprimanded one church, stating, “You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God” (James 4:4). “Friend” and ‘friendly’ are distinct. Jesus was friendly towards everyone, but He was not friends with anyone except the apostles who grew closer to Him. That’s because ‘friends’ are people who have the same thinking, the same value system, the same worldview, the same heart. For this reason, being ‘friends’ with the world gives you the same values and desires as the world, and none of them are related to God. Sanctification allows God to work in your life.
- Seek mature Christians. Mature Christians are really Christians who are maturing or purposely walking with Jesus. They have a genuine sense of devotion, loyalty, and faithfulness to God– the same way a wife has for a good husband– and though they’re rare, they’re hard to miss when they speak up (or act) in a group of Christians. Pray and ask God to connect you with one or more Christians like this so that you also can grow and also be delivered.
