Hello and welcome to our Rochester, NY deliverance page. We found several deliverance ministries in New York and in and around Rochester. If you’re suffering or being tormented spiritually or are struggling with spiritual oppression, bondage, or curses and are seeking deliverance, keep reading.
We want you to be sure to vet all the ministries we’ve provided on this page and on our other New York pages. We believe that God loves you and wants you free. In our eyes and the eyes of others, we might be successful, strong, powerful, popular– suprahuman. But God sees us as we in fact are. The following points can help you as you seek deliverance:
- Trust that sees your struggle and wants you delivered and free. The Bible says, “We all, like sheep, have gone astray. Each one of us has turned to our own way, and the Lord has laid on [Jesus] the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:6). David said, “As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities [His children]. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust” (Psalm 103:13-14). And Matthew 9:36 says, “When [Jesus] saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep [are when they have] no shepherd.” That crowd that Jesus saw included the rich and poor, strong and weak, the happy and the unhappy, etc. But Jesus saw them all as the vulnerable sheep they were, therefore He was moved with compassion for them. He is moved with compassion for us all– whether we’re in bondage or we’re free– so you can trust that He wants you free of all spiritual bondage.
- Get guidance and support from mature Christians. Proverbs 15:22 says, “There is wisdom in a multitude of counselors.” Seek counsel as well as prayer support as you seek deliverance. Listen to advice, but in the end, follow the course that the Holy Spirit is leading you on which will always include deliverance.
- Don’t give up. “Then [Jesus] told them a parable to the end that men always ought to pray and not lose heart” (Luke 18:1). Praying is important. But here, the main point is that men “not lose heart”. There have been times I couldn’t pray, but I wouldn’t give up either. Some people wait a long time for deliverance. Finding it might take time, but if you persist you’ll eventually find it.
