Welcome to our Salem, OR deliverance page. We made this page for residents of Salem in particular but also for all Oregon residents who are experiencing spiritual bondage and are seeking ministry for deliverance. If you are in need of deliverance or know someone who needs deliverance, please keep reading.
Spiritual bondage happens when God’s laws are broken– ie. when a person is breaking one of God’s laws, one person is breaking God’s laws against another person, or one of God’s laws is being broken against a person. “Because of the increase of lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12). As lawlessness increases, people care less and less about each other, and therefore more and more people come under spiritual bondage. There is more spiritual bondage today in the world than there ever was before.
There are many things that can be said to benefit people who are in spiritual bondage and seeking deliverance. I have listed some of these things below. Please read through and consider them:
- Know satan’s tactics. The Bible says that satan prowls around, seeking people to victimize. This warning was written to Christians in particular (1Peter 5:8-9), not to non-Christians, because satan is able to and does harm and negatively affect Christians every single day. The enemy has many tactics he uses against Christians, but it’s good to know some foundational ones such as isolation, confusion, and discouragement. A Christian in isolation is easy to defeat; confusion makes progress difficult; and discouragement makes progress basically impossible. Be on the lookout for these three.
- Sanctify your life to God. This isn’t taught much in church today, but a life of sanctification is necessary in order to defeat satan and his tactics in your life and to maintain deliverance when you get it.
- Connect with maturing Christians. Christians who are maturing are purposely and consciously moving forward with God and are willing to struggle to make progress. They’re not passively waiting till they die or till a rapture and would therefore be willing to walk with you in your journey. If you can’t find someone like this, ask God to encourage you Himself.
- Have faith in God. As a society, we’re used to having all our needs at our fingertips and aren’t used to having to really trust God for anything, therefore we rarely have evidence that God is able or/and willing and therefore often have little faith. But Jesus said that as long as your faith is directed at or focused on God, you only need faith as small as a mustard seed. It might take you a while to find deliverance. Trust God.
