St Louis Deliverance Ministries MO

Hello, St. Louis. This is our St. Louis, MO deliverance page here at Love Flows Ministries. This page is set up to help people in St. Louis, and in Missouri, who are experiencing spiritual bondage to begin connecting to ministries that can help them find freedom and deliverance from their spiritual oppression.

The enemy comes “to steal, to kill, and to destroy” and nothing else. Many Christians are experiencing his influence and oppression in their lives. Some are seeking freedom and some aren’t. Some have found freedom and some haven’t. If you are seeking freedom and deliverance, consider practicing the following which can facilitate your deliverance:

  • Call around and contact deliverance ministries, and vet them. Deliverance ministries can sometimes be found in local churches. You can call churches in your area and ask them if they have someone who does deliverance in their church. When you do contact a ministry, vet them and ask them the questions you want answered. That way, it’s easier for you to choose the ministry that is best for you.
  • Rely on God. Solomon said, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5). We live in a fallen world and people are very prone to make mistakes and to be imperfect. It’s important to receive from and listen to people but to not depend on a deliverance minister or on anyone but God.
  • Draw close to God. Knowing God more and experiencing Him will help you to be able to trust God. There are different ways to draw close to God. Bible-reading and prayer are the two most popular ways. However, sometimes a lot gets lost when we simply read our Bibles or simply pray. I advise to continue reading your Bible and praying but that you add a.) contemplative prayer and b.) informal communication. These are just enhanced forms of reading the Bible and prayer and will be tailored specifically to you:
  1. Contemplative Prayer: this is slowly flipping through your Bible and reading a scripture here and a verse there as you wait for God to speak to you. When a scripture jumps out at you or suddenly is highlighted or resonates, stop there and pray over that scripture. God will, immediately or later, show you what He has for specifically you from that scripture.
  2. Informal Communication: this is talking to God wherever you are and whenever you remember to. You can do this verbally or in your head/heart: in bed, in the shower, at breakfast, en route to work, in your car, at work, on lunch break, at the grocery store, at the red traffic light, etc. This makes a relationship with God realer than formal prayer, because God begins to become ‘near’ and not ‘far’. Like contemplative prayer, this can open your senses to God faster than regular prayer (and Bible-reading).
