Hello, Worcester, MA. Welcome to our deliverance page for Columbia, MD here at Love Flows Ministries. Our desire is to connect those of you who need deliverance in the Worcester area with someone who can help you. We don’t have a lot of ministries we found in this area, but hopefully, you can contact the ministries we found and they can connect you with people closer to you.
God loves you and has plans to bless and build you up and not plans to pull you down or force anything on you. The adversary, satan, has the MO of force, coercion, and the usurpation of one’s free will. If you are experiencing spiritual oppression or a loved one is suffering from spiritual bondage and you’re seeking deliverance for that, prayerfully consider the following points:
- Reach out to more than one ministry. If you had a medical need or emergency, you probably wouldn’t insist that only one paramedic or doctor operated on you. When in need of deliverance, you should contact several ministries at the same time. Each ministry is different. Vet them to see which one works best for you. Desperate times call for desperate measures. When in spiritual bondage, it isn’t the time to be ‘proper’ or ‘mannerly’.
- Call around to local churches. Most deliverance ministries are unlisted or at least hard to find online. Furthermore, there are churches that have deliverance ministries. Some of these church deliverance ministries are formally set up as ministries within their church; others don’t function as a ministry within the church but are informal, functioning as a practical act of Jesus’s love for His people who are in bondage.
- Seek out a mature Christian. This might be your pastor or the unassuming lady who manages the church daycare or the seemingly vain worship leader or the weird guy who doesn’t hang around after church to socialize. Ask God to show you this person through spiritual discernment. A person like this would be indispensable, especially when it concerns spiritual bondage. John said that those who are spiritually mature are “strong, and the word of God abides in [them], and [they] have overcome the wicked one” (1John 2:14).
- Put your trust in God. God is the one who has good plans for your life, who loves you most, and who knows where you need to go for deliverance. Spend more time in prayer, especially ‘walking prayer’ or just informally talking to God whenever you can as you go along your day. God will lead and guide you in the right way as you trust in and communicate with Him: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you” (Psalm 32:8, Amplified Version).
